Adventures of Poirot (Pwä-rōw) the Parrot:  Stories for Children

Poirot is a young parrot who lives wild and free deep in the Amazon jungle.  Poirot considers himself brave, smart, and important.  He has chores to do, but he always prefers to investigate the interesting things going on in the jungle–especially in the small village nearby.  In his adventures, Poirot encounters angry bees, mean dogs, hungry predators, and pet collectors that want to trap him in a tiny cage.
