As a conservationist working and
volunteering in the field, I understand the ways we have to use to get need funding may be disturbing to others. People don’t just give money to good causes, sometimes they need to gain also. Like the bragging rights of shooting a black rhino. They can’t brag they just donated 1 million to the cause ,that’s not ‘cool’. Officials aren’t letting the hunger just shoot willy-nilly into a crowd of rhino, just one, preselected, older male. Truly, this money will go a very long way to help many more rhino from poachers, who will cut the horn off the live animal and let it die a horrible death, possibly even leaving a baby to perish because his mom has died. I don’t like this method at all, but until we all understand there really is only one planet, and us humans are screwing it up HARDCORE, we will continue to see messed up methods to fix things like this

This is outrageous! It’s not often that words fail me but … words fail me – well my ‘for public use’ words have failed me. I’m truly shocked by this coming from a country that is seen as both civilised and …. nope, words fail me 😦
