  2. Alex, my feeling exactly. I said there was no place for lions as a lament for the species’ decline. It seems that there should be a way for these lions to serve as replacements for lions lost to poachers and hunters. But of course, these lions might not know how to support themselves, suitable habitat has dwindled, and the possibility for conflict with people has grown.
