Garry Rogers:  Frustration comes from the lack of concern by the scientific, planning, and management institutions for nature conservation.  Instead of admitting that we are in the midst of an emergency and dropping other projects until we stabilize things, the science establishment continues to encourage research on genetics, energy, and outer space.  Those are  very important, but look around people!
